Refunds & Cancellations

Our cancellation and refund policy for mobile coolroom hire services

Date Changes / Rescheduling

Customers may request to reschedule their booking once, free of charge, if at least 48 hours notice is provided.

Changes made with less than 48 hours notice will incur a rescheduling fee of $50.

Important Note:

If the customer does not pay the $50 reschedule fee, we will consider it a full cancellation and a refund will not be issued.

Less than 48 hours notice:No refund - forfeit full hire fee

How to Cancel

To cancel your booking:

  1. Call us on 0497 269 487
  2. Or email info@moanahire.com.au with your booking reference

Cancellation requests must be received during business hours (Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, Saturday 8am-4pm). Cancellations are effective from the time we receive and confirm your request.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days of cancellation
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method used for booking
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
  • Please allow additional time for your bank to process the refund

Weather-Related Cancellations

For extreme weather events:

  • If delivery is unsafe or impossible due to extreme weather, we'll work with you to reschedule
  • No cancellation fee applies for weather-related postponements
  • Full refund available if rescheduling is not possible

Equipment Unavailability

In the rare event that our equipment becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • We will notify you immediately
  • Full refund will be provided
  • We will assist in finding alternative solutions where possible

No-Show Policy

  • If you are not present for scheduled delivery and we cannot access the site, the hire period still applies
  • Failed delivery attempts due to customer absence may incur additional delivery fees
  • Please ensure someone is present during the scheduled delivery window

Early Returns

  • No refund is provided for early returns
  • The full hire period fee applies regardless of actual usage
  • Early collection can be arranged at no additional charge

Damage and Cleaning Fees

  • Equipment must be returned clean and undamaged
  • Excessive cleaning fees start at $100
  • Repair costs will be charged for any damage beyond normal wear and tear
  • No refund applies if equipment is damaged or excessively dirty
